Banquet + Important Summer Dates


The Edina Friends of Forensics presents the 2015 Banquet on Monday, April 20th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Mahon Center (St. Patrick's Church) 6820 St Patrick's Lane, Edina, MN 55439. If you have questions about the banquet, contact Rashi Mittal at mittal.rashi@ymail.com

Debate information and recruiting meeting will be Wednesday, May 20th 6:30 PM at EHS Fick Auditorium.  We will need volunteers from current team to help recruiting both prior to the meeting and then at the meeting itself.

Mini-camp for Lincoln-Douglas and Public Forum debaters, plus Extemp Speakers* will be July 27-30 8-Noon at the ECC room 351.  Debate from 8 to 9:45 AM, followed by extemp from 10-noon.  We expect all LD and PF debaters not away at camp elsewhere to attend the Edina mini-camp.
* We are also working on a summer book club for extemp speaking as well, but don't have those details fully arranged yet. 

Team leadership workshop will be Friday, July 31st from 9 AM to 3 PM at 120 South Sixth Street Suite 400, Minneapolis, MN 55402.  Application to attend the workshop will be posted soon.

Practice for the 2015-16 season begins on Monday, August 17th for all debaters.

All-team parent meeting will be Wednesday, September 9th 6:30 PM at EHS Fick Auditorium.

National qualifiers are this weekend at Eagan, so too is our first speech tournament of the season at Chanhassen.
