Varsity and JV Policy
will feature 3 rounds of competition. Novice Policy will follow this schedule:
Novice Policy Round 1 -
Observation of Demonstration Round (this is the same as it was previously)
Round 2 - Lecture/Topic
Overview Discussion (this will involve all novices)
Round 3 - OPTIONAL round
of debate (students will need to decide during the round 2 timeslot if they
want to debate or not)
Varsity and JV
Lincoln-Douglas and Public Forum will feature five rounds of
competition.
Novice LD/PF Novice will first watch a "showcased"
Varsity round in their event during round 1, to be followed by a post-round
discussion facilitated by Minnesota coaches during round 2. After that,
there will be a novice division that features three rounds of
competition. If novice students wish to take part in the exhibition round
and discussion without competing, that is fine, but there will be no structured
novice activities afterward unless they compete in the novice division.
Congressional
Debate will have an introductory lecture prior to the start of the first
session led by Eagan’s Ross Eichele.
Roster – This roster
will be finalized on Friday at 3 PM. We
are still looking for judges and we will drop entries + share codes to make it
work. Parents, PLEASE SIGN UP TO JUDGE
