- JV Novice State was a great capstone to a tremendous season for Edina Debate
- 13 of 15 public forum teams cleared to elimination rounds, including 7 of 7 novice teams. Edina TS finished in 1st place
- 5 of 8 JV Lincoln Douglas debaters cleared to elimination rounds, with Ananth Veluvali finishing in 2nd place!
- 3 of 4 Novice Policy teams cleared to elimination rounds while 4 of 5 JV Policy teams cleared to elimination rounds.
- Alexander Al-Najim and Yash Mangalick broke to JV Congress Super Session, finishing 5th and 7th respectively. Abbi Shilts broke to Novice Congress Super Session, finishing 4th.
- Countless Varsity members helped all weekend by judging, coaching, prepping, and ensuring success for EVERYONE. As a result of everyone's hard work and success, we finished 2nd in sweepstakes--an impressive result despite not fielding any novice Lincoln Douglas debaters.

- Team decision: Teams for Sections will be announced after the Blake tournament, while the national qualifier teams will be finalized the first week in January. Note that we take these decisions very seriously as coaches.
